The Avalanche 16U Showcase Team wins the 2015 Summer Open NSA Qualifier in North Fayette PA in classic fashion. Avalanche was a perfect 5-0, outscoring their competition 44-13! Avalanche let their bats do the talking as they scorched the competition. This is the second NSA qualifier Avalanche 16U Showcase has medaled in for 2015. This is the first Tournament Championship for The Showcase Team, in this their first year in existence. You did great ladies, we are all very proud of you! Keep swinging those bats!

The Avalanche 14U Team played in a tournament they have never attempted before.  The "Twinkle Twinkle Overnight Tournament" (a USSSA World Series Qualifier) is an overnight tournament that starts at 10pm on Friday and plays throughout the night.  The girls were undefeated in pool play and played their semi-final game at 3:00am winning 10-4.  They started the finals at 6:30am Saturday morning, losing a close game 8-6.  With their runner-up result, the team has won another USSSA World Series bid.  This year's World Series will be held in July at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida!

The Avalanche 16U Showcase Team takes second place at the 2015 Winterfest 18U Tournament on January 3, 2015 in Greenville PA. Avalanche pounded out 37 hits scoring 27 runs, while holding their opponents to 13 runs on 16 hits. Avalanche faced tough competition from up and down the East coast. Strong pitching, tight defense, and their trademark "big bats" set the pace for the tournament. Avalanche's finish earned them a trip to the NSA "A" Nationals in Chattanooga TN in July. The girls showed great character and class in very challenging situations. You made the coaches, parents, and entire Avalanche organization very proud! Great job ladies!
